TOOLS
Rise 360
THE CHALLENGE
Teachers experience chronic workload overload and burnout. While delegation is often recommended, most educators lack a structured framework for identifying delegable tasks and communicating expectations effectively.
The result?
Reactive coping, extended work hours, and reduced sustainability in the profession.
THE STRATEGY
Rather than delivering generic advice, I designed a structured five-step delegation lifecycle grounded in:
-
Performance gap analysis
-
User-centered design
-
Scenario-based learning
-
Cognitive load to optimization
-
MIcrolearning architecture
The goal?
To shift teachers from reactive survival to proactive workload management.
THE SOLUTION
An interactive, mobile-responsive Rise 360 module guiding educators through:
-
Identifying appropriate tasks
-
Selecting the right person
-
Communicating expectations clearly
-
Monitoring through feedback loops
-
Evaluating and adjusting strategies
The experience includes:
-
Realistic case studies
-
Interactive checkpoints
-
Knowledge checks aligned to learning objectives
-
Downloadable delegation tools
DESIGN DECISIONS
Why Rise 360?
Simply because of the programs responsive, modular structure aligned with teachers' time constraints.
Why Micro learning?
The decision to create a micro learning module for delegating tasks was to reduce the cognitive overload and increased likelihood of completion (and I didn't want to add more task items on a busy teacher's to-do list).
Why Scenario-Based Learning?
Delegation is behavioral, not informational. Application was essential.
IMPACT
This project demonstrates my ability to:
-
Identify systemic workflow problems
-
Translate research into actionable frameworks
-
Design performance-based learning solutions
-
Build scalable digital training tools
-
Align instructional strategy with real-world constraints
This experience reinforced the importance of designing beyond delivering content. Effective learning solutions must address workflow, emotion, and sustainability, not just knowledge acquisition.
Delegation is not about offloading tasks. It's about building clarity, structure, and long-term resilience.
